The model spent five hours applying prosthetics to embody her own giant left hand, a concept that took her longer to build than to wear.

New York City hosts some of the most elaborate annual gatherings, and one just hit a milestone. On Saturday, Heidi Klum marked the 25th anniversary of her famous Halloween party with a bloody and unrecognizable entrance.
The model appeared as a massive, severed human hand. Only her eyes and mouth were visible, with blood dripping from her lips as she extended her tongue. The top of the costume featured dangling ligaments and tendons, while assistants in blood-stained hazmat suits moved around her. Klum said the idea struck her last year when she looked at her own left hand and thought she could fit her body inside it.
The costume included specific personal details. The giant hand had long red nails, a thumb ring, and her engagement and wedding rings. Klum noted that a tattoo of her husband Tom Kaulitz's name appears on the ring finger, alongside her natural palm lines and veins. Kaulitz, a musician, did not attend the event because he was on tour.
Getting into the outfit required significant effort. Klum reported that it took five to six hours to apply the prosthetics, though creating the structure took much longer. She posted updates on Instagram earlier in the day as the bloodied makeup was applied to her face. She described carrying the costume as the hardest part, calling it quite heavy.
This event follows a 2022 appearance where Klum went viral for arriving on a fishing line in a worm costume. Her past years of partying have included outfits inspired by Medusa, a peacock, an 8-foot-tall Transformer, a werewolf from Michael Jackson's Thriller video, a clone, and the Hindu goddess Kali.
