Gadi Eisenkot, the chairman of the Yashar party, stated that all of Israel's money is currently at risk. He released this warning on Saturday in a campaign video posted to X, where he characterized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent financial proposals as an admission that the government has destroyed the country's economy.

The political friction stems from a Channel 10 interview where Netanyahu discussed the need to prepare for an alternative economy due to mounting international sanctions. Eisenkot’s video used clips from that interview to argue that the prime minister’s strategy signals deep financial trouble.

A focal point of the criticism was Netanyahu's endorsement of blockchain technology. The prime minister told Channel 10 that digital finance would certainly be part of the contingency plan and confirmed he had asked for a specific plan to be prepared. Eisenkot’s team labeled this concept "Bibicoin" and argued it would ultimately destroy the Israeli economy.

The campaign video drew parallels between Israel's proposed financial mechanisms and the economies of North Korea and Iran. It claimed the shift would signal the end of high-tech, healthcare, and national security. The video specifically asked how global high-tech investors could place capital in Israeli companies if digital currency became the sole method of financial exchange.

Eisenkot further elaborated in a separate post on X, noting that Netanyahu admits his policy will lead to international isolation. He wrote that these sanctions will shake the economy and the market, resulting in a collapse of national security. The Yashar leader urged citizens not to let the prime minister burn through their savings.

This exchange has placed the prime minister's contingency planning at the center of the current political debate. Eisenkot is using Netanyahu's own words from the Channel 10 interview as the primary basis for his critique. The debate highlights the tension between preparing for external sanctions and maintaining confidence in the domestic currency.

The video concludes with a call to protect national savings from what Eisenkot describes as a reckless pivot. The Yashar party will likely continue to reference the "Bibicoin" label in upcoming campaign materials to frame the economic discussion ahead of the next scheduled policy announcements.
